Caroline Greco
Teacher
Caroline Greco is a board-certified music therapist and licensed creative arts therapist who brings heart, presence, and deep respect to her work as both a therapist and educator. With a passion for guiding students through meaningful and creative musical experiences, she offers personalized lessons that nurture curiosity, playfulness, authentic expression, and joy.
Caroline began her own musical journey at age four and has studied piano, flute, guitar, voice, music theory, and music therapy with inspiring mentors from New York to Ireland. She has performed with wind ensembles, symphonic bands, and full orchestras across New York State, including appearances at Carnegie Hall and the Irish World Academy of Music and Dance. These experiences, along with her professional background in music therapy, helped shape her belief that music is a deeply personal, joyful, and healing force. She works closely with each student to explore their interests, support their growth, and help them work toward and achieve their unique musical goals. Caroline is especially passionate about helping students build meaningful connections with music that extend far beyond the lesson space.
In addition to teaching, Caroline brings years of experience as a music therapist, having worked with people of many ages — from premature infants in NICUs to older adults with dementia and individuals receiving hospice care. Her clinical experience also includes pediatric oncology and rehabilitation for adults with brain injuries, and continues to help shape her sensitive, person-centered teaching style.
Caroline holds a Master of Science in Music Therapy from SUNY New Paltz and is credentialed by the Certification Board for Music Therapists, the New York State Education Department, the Connecticut Department of Public Health, and the Center for Music Therapy in End of Life Care.
